Vârful Rákosi este una dintre cele mai frumoase vârfuri ale regiunii Hargita, dar în același timp și cel mai greu accesibil. Motivul este că nu există nici un traseu marcat și nici chiar o potecă adecvată care să conducă spre platoul stâncos.
Din stațiunea Harghita Mădăraș ne îndreptăm către Harghita Bai, trecând prin mlaștina alpină numită Sáté, care este una dintre cele mai frumoase și mai bine conservate mlaștină de turbă din Ținutul Secuiesc. După o ușoară urcare ajungem într-o pădure de pini. Urcăm prin pădure până ajungem la o stâncă abruptă. În vreme bună, priveliștea minunată de pe stâncă ne răsplătește pentru fiecare efort.

The Rákosi Peak is one of the most beautiful peaks of Hargita Region, but at the same time the hardest to reach. The reason is that there is no marked hiking trail and even a proper footpath leading up to the rocky roof.
From Madarasi Hargita we head towards Harghita Bai, going through the alpine mire called Saté, which is one of the most beautiful and best preserved peat bogs in Szeklerland. After a slight ascent we reach the untouched pine forest. We climb up in a dense pine wood while we reach a steep rock wall. In good weather, the great view from the top of this rewards us for every effort.

A Rákosi csúcs a Hargita-hegység egyik legszebb és mégis alig járt csúcsa. Ennek oka az, hogy félreesik a jelzett turistautaktól, sőt gyalogösvény sem vezet fel a sziklás tetőre.
A Madarasi Hargitáról a Hargitafürdő irányába indulunk. Végigmegyünk a Sáté nevezetű havasi lápréten, mely Székelyföld egyik legszebb és legjobb állapotban fennmaradt tőzeglápja. Enyhe emelkedő után érintetlen fenyőerdőbe érünk. Úttalan utakon, sűrű fenyőerdőben kapaszkodunk felfelé, míg egy meredek sziklafalhoz érünk. Szép időben az ennek tetejéről elénk táruló remek kilátás kárpótol minden fáradságért.
