For efficient snowboard instruction you doesn’t need big mountains. Harghita Madaras is one of the most popular ski resort of Transylvania. Due to it’s special microclimate, the snow is guaranteed from december to april, and in case of bad weather the snow cannons and the snow groomers take care of the proper snow conditions. The resort has over 4,8 km of piste above 1480-1680 m altitude, 300 m for beginners, 1500 m of blue piste, 1500 m of red and 700 m of black piste.
